Is my company required to report regulatory violations that we identify ourselves?

Certain violations are clearly reportable. These include violations of permits and certain enforcement orders. Spills (see below), too, may be reportable. Other violations, especially when fixed and not reoccurring may not require self-reporting. Your attorney and consultant can provide advice tailored to your situation.
